Sandalodes superbus
I didn't know what sort of a spider it was but subsequent research suggested a species of jumping spider.
If correct, it was on the larger size for a jumping spider but the eyes fitted the pattern, a large pair facing forwards flanked by a smaller one on each side, a tiny pair behind those and also another small pair looking upwards further back on the head.
